Whether you're an athlete, a desk worker, or just feeling the weight of daily life, your body craves release. Our Yoga Release Group Fitness Class is designed to give you just that. This powerful, therapeutic reset blends the deep, meditative stillness of Yin Yoga with the self-myofascial release benefits of foam rolling and massage ball work. Each session is carefully curated to target areas of chronic tension, like hips, shoulders, back, and legs. This class helps soften tight spots, improve mobility, and calm your nervous system. Think of it as a full-body sigh of relief.
What to Expect

Yoga Poses: Long-held, passive stretches that work deep into
connective tissues, promoting flexibility and joint health.
- Mindful
Breathing & Stillness: Every element of this class
is designed to help you drop into a parasympathetic (rest-and-digest)
state.
Depending on the instructor,
classes may also include:
- Foam
Rolling Sequences: Guided techniques to smooth out fascia, release
trigger points, and boost circulation.
- Massage
Ball Techniques: Precision pressure on knots and tight spots. Perfect
for shoulders, glutes, feet, and more.

Yoga Release Group Fitness Classes are included in your ALC membership; no sign-up is required! Classes are held in Multi-Purpose Studio 264 on Sundays @ 10am, Wednesdays @ 1:05p.m. & 7p.m. (unavailable in June), and Fridays at 5pm. Fort Garry group fitness schedule.
